Getting to shoot a friend or family member's wedding is always a treat, but this one was particularly special as Kim is my little sister! Kim found a great guy in Michael, and they compliment each other well. We are thrilled to have him as part of our family.
One of the coolest things about doing what I get to do is having the opportunity to be a fly on the wall during every special moment of one of the most important days of peoples lives! It's such an honor and something I hope I never take for granted. Drew and Angela are two of the sweetest people I have ever met, and they made me feel like one of the family from the very start. So honored to get to tell a bit of their story from my perspective.
What a beautiful wedding this was! One of my favorite first look locations to date. When I found this small, stained glass chapel at the church it was a no brainer. From there we headed to Bent Tree Country Club for the reception where Lance is the Executive Chef. It was a lavish affair with some of the finest food and drink I've encountered at a wedding, and I was honored to be a part of this day! Take a look.
We had such a great time covering Sarah and Ward's wedding! This wedding was chock full of romance. Their pre ceremony gifts were so loving and brought tears to each others eyes, and when they finally got to see each other for the first look, well, you'll see their reactions. It was such an honor to get to tell the story of their wedding day! Check it out.
Nick and Tori are two of the sweetest people I've ever met, and it was such a treat to shoot their wedding. From start to finish, they were cheerful, upbeat, and just generally a pleasure to be around and I think that comes through in these photos. Take a look!
Eric and Annam were such a blast to work with! It's always a treat when you get to work with a couple that trusts you completely and they just want you to do what you do, how you do it. We were blessed with some amazing, cool(for the season) weather in the middle of weeks of rain storms on both sides of the wedding. The setting right down on the waters of Lake Conroe at couldn't have been any more beautiful! Any time a wedding in Texas is going to have BBQ you know I'm in! So happy to finally share some shots from the wedding after I was away on my honeymoon for a few weeks. Enjoy!
Do I want to shoot a costumed wedding on Halloween at a haunted hotel? Uhm, yes please! I've known Chris and Mallory through some mutual friends for about a year, and they are such an awesome couple! I love meeting people that I can talk all things nerd/geek with. I've said it a million times, but I'm blown away every time at how great my clients are! This weekend was such a blast, especially since we had the whole hotel just for the wedding. Check it out!
I have known Bethany for over 5 years now, so when she and Chris asked if I could be the one to shoot their wedding I was thrilled. Bethany is an amazing wedding photographer herself, so I was honored to have the opportunity. The ceremony and reception were at Bethany's mom and stepdad's farm out in Waller, Texas. It was like a rustic Pinterest dream wedding: seating for the ceremony on hay bails covered in burlap, bar set up in the stables, rocking chairs, swings, bonfires, latterns hanging from trees... it was the epitome of a Texas country wedding. We also lucked out with one of the most perfect November days we could have hoped for. Here is a little peak at how the day went, from start to finish.
